This is a chain problem. The brightness of the solar light directly depends on the actual lighting power set by the controller, and the actual lighting power depends on the system specification. So, from the source, the brightness of solar lights depends on the system specification.
The brightness of the solar light is the actual power given by the controller, and the actual power plus the full power working time is the power consumption of the solar light for the day. Assuming that the working time is constant, the greater the power, the greater the power consumption. The greater the power consumption, the greater the amount of charging required and the storage capacity of the battery, so the specification of the solar lamp needs to be larger, that is, the solar panels and the battery need to be larger.
Another big determining factor is the system voltage. System voltage has 3.2V, 12.8V, and 24V.
If need more power and higher brightness, then need to make a 12.8 V or 24V system. For the road project, 12.8V and 24V all-in-one and separated solar street lights are always the top choices. (the picture below showed is the 12.8V separated solar street light for a rural road project )
Another factor is the overall lighting effect. With the same actual power, the higher the light LED chip efficiency, the brighter the light.
